Psalm 118:8-9 – It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
2 Timothy 2:11-13 – This is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with Him, we will also live with Him (transactional).
If we endure, we will also reign with Him (transactional).
If we deny Him, He will also deny us (transactional).
If we are faithless, He remains faithful (relational).
Psalm 23:6 – My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
